Yes, during my science portion of VBS, there was a map in the classroom and I showed the older kids where I lived and how far I had traveled to come there etc etc..
We did a lot with the map since I quickly ran out of things to talk about in the science portion since I really am terrible at science and really had no idea what I was doing.. :)
